Like our prefabricated homes these furniture concepts use modular construction methods to create an array of different configuration possibilities.

Hash, is a graphic modular bookshelf with diagonal slats that act almost like a cage. Depending on how you hang the shelves and how many you put together, you can create a really cool, visually dynamic wall piece.

Libra modular suspended lights are made up of two different curved, tubular modules that can be arranged into various configurations. The lights have a disc that allows you to adjust what position you want each module in so you can create a custom pendant.

A French designer has created a sofa made from a system of individual modules that can be carried like a suitcase. Individual elements can be used independently or combined in a number of different configurations.
