Things We Love: Patterns Inspired By The Hustle And Bustle Of City Life

  • January 28th, 2016

Our January love interest has been these intricate modular patterns designed by artist Damola Rufai.

With a background in architecture, Rufai draws on his own experiences of the built form to create a series of isometric patterns that are as chaotic as they are beautiful.

The series of work captures the hustle and bustle of city life and transforms the maze-like nature of Lagos, Nigeria into vibrant prints. Each variation of the series is created digitally and printed on cotton fabric.

An Australian city hasn’t yet made the cut for inspiration, but we’d love to see it in the next range (hint, hint).
