Monash College Learning Village

Designed by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects and constructed by Modscape, Monash's new prefabricated modular learning spaces and associated amenities were rolled out in two stages. The College chose a modular solution to enable them to quickly meet their increasing accommodation demands and to avoid disrupting staff and students.

Stage one consisted of 48 modules, while stage two was made up of 24 modules. All are arranged to form nine separate buildings, organised around a central courtyard. Buildcorp undertook the site works and landscaping, including the bright yellow walkways connecting each building together.

The construction of the learning spaces in each stage was complete in just 14 weeks with the modules being installed during the semester break, minimising disruption to the campus.
