Replacing an ageing property, the brief called for a home designed from the ground up for family life in Greenwich, a quiet and leafy harbourside suburb on Sydney’s lower north shore. Balancing longevity and liveability, the modular design is guided by passive house design principles and a commitment to high-quality materials and architecture.

Aesthetic direction has been carefully developed with our clients, Colorbond Pale Eucalypt is the chosen colour for the facade, offering a sense of fun whilst sitting harmoniously with the densely treed landscape. Timber cladding brings warmth to the entry areas providing a considered material palette with subtle contrast. Built-in storage solutions bring both beauty and function to everyday living, creating a home that feels welcoming and cohesive throughout.

The garden is a defining feature of the site, and the design responds accordingly. Minimising the overall building footprint allowing the existing open space to be preserved wherever possible. The layout orientates the home to maximise garden views and strengthen the connection between indoor and outdoor living. Large window shadings, durable roofing materials, and double height Garage spaces are resolved with the same care and consideration applied across every element of the home.

The result will be a timeless family residence, tailored specifically to the needs of those who will call it home for generations to come.
