Spanning two levels, the home adopts an inverted floorplan, positioning communal living spaces on the upper floor to maximise solar access and panoramic estuary views. Full-height glazing connects the open-plan interior to a deep, covered terrace, while the architecture’s slender horizontal lines express a lightness and clarity that echo the coastal setting.

Below, the lower level houses sleeping quarters and a secondary living zone that opens directly to the garden. The design encourages natural ventilation and solar access throughout, with deep overhangs and external shading ensuring comfort year-round. Internally, joinery and finishes are purposefully minimal, allowing the surrounding bushland and estuary views to take centre stage.

The project showcases a measured approach to coastal living—effortlessly relaxed, architecturally precise, and deeply responsive to its environment. Every element has been considered not just for how it looks, but how it performs, ages and adapts over time.
