Architecture to Experience

Some buildings are designed to be lived in. Others are designed to be experienced.

Across vineyards, farmland and regional landscapes, these projects show how architecture can deepen a connection to place and shape the memories people take away with them.

From winery restaurant to rural retreats, these projects demonstrate how considered design and architecture can shape the experience of a place. Each responds to its setting in a unique way — framing views, connecting occupants to the landscape and creating spaces that encourage people to slow down and explore.

Designed and built by the Modscape + Modbotics team, they showcase architecture that is grounded in context and crafted to leave a lasting impression long after the stay is over.
