Sustainable Produce At The Heart Of Art
If the thought of feasting on sustainably grown produce inspired by art and prepared by the same culinary blood as the award winning restaurant Vue de Monde sounds like an experience worth enjoying, then you might want to reserve a booking at Café Vue at Heide for the Fiona Hall Dinner this Friday (March 22nd) . . .
The chefs at Café Vue have created a gastronomic experience inspired by contemporary artist Fiona Hall’s forthcoming exhibition Big Hunting Game at the Heide Museum of Modern Art. Hall is best known for her extraordinary works that ‘transform mundane man-made materials into vital organic forms with both contemporary and historical resonances’. With titles such as ‘The Rebirth of Consumables’ and ‘The Dark Side of Sweet’, the menu aims to ‘interpret and reflect the same themes of fragility in nature seen in Hall’s work, with an emphasis on making sustainable food choices’.
