Modscape + Modbotics is delivering double-storey, low-rise social housing for QBuild as part of the Queensland Government’s broader housing program, spanning 122 dwellings across 45 regional and remote locations throughout Queensland. These low-rise homes are being delivered across four sites in Esk, Kawana, Collinsville and Atherton.
In collaboration with Anna O’Gorman Architects, we’re delivering one- and two-bedroom dwellings configured as two-storey homes. While the broader program predominantly comprises single-storey homes, these low-rise sites demonstrate how repeatability can accommodate different housing typologies and configurations.
Across the four sites, 48 modules were manufactured over a 12-week period at our Queensland manufacturing facility.
The program enables manufacturing, site works, logistics and installation to be coordinated across multiple locations throughout Queensland.
The same delivery model supports different types of homes, from single-storey dwellings to double-storey, low-rise housing. This provides flexibility across the program while maintaining the efficiencies of a repeatable manufacturing process.
